Salone del Mobile 2019, reportage of the most
anticipated interior design event of the year

Thousands of visitors from all over the world, the Bontempi Casa stand at the 2019 International Salone del Mobile had an excellent flow and was a success both among the sector’s employees and individuals.

“For us at Bontempi, this is the 43rd edition of the Salone. As every year, the magic and the deep emotion that this event provokes has had multiple effects on the company and on all those who are part of it “- comments the company. “The 2019 edition for Bontempi had two fundamental objectives: the first was to convey emotion; the idea that gave life to the design of the stand was to overcome the mere “exhibition of furniture” and to create an environment through which to express the DNA and the corporate philosophy, we created environments of daily life along an articulated path inside the surface of the stand, ranging from sophisticated and eclectic areas to lounge and relaxation areas to younger and smart living environments. At the center of the space, the beating heart of this journey, we have created a conversation area surrounded by greenery, a familiar and engaging meeting point designed for all visitors from all over the world where they had the chance to touch live our collection materials created with real samples ”.

The second goal we set ourselves was to transfer the care, research, craftsmanship and tailoring of our products to our audience; we have therefore positioned all the products in their most precious shape in our spaces, using refined finishes created by hand, creating sophisticated yet legible elegant environments that are never excessive. In support of this, we organized an initiative with the collaboration of an important illustrator who hand-painted the images of our products on postcards and presented them to the visitors of the stand “.

The Bontempi Casa novelty products presented at the 2019 Salone

The undisputed protagonists of the Bontempi Casa stand at the fair were the products, the iconic and most beloved products of the brand – including the Lexington bookcase, the Penelope chairs, the Millennium table, the Olimpia and Pandora lamps, the Galaxy chair – but also many new ones. Here we present them again, with the possibility of configuring each product in all its available versions. The choice of model, materials and color palette is endless, thanks to the Bontempi Casa Configurator.

The Universe table

Fixed round table with structure and decorative details in lacquered steel. Top in veneered wood, polished crystal, scratch-resistant glass, also available in a ring version with a central swivel top in glossy glass, scratch-resistant matt glass or Supermarble.

The Magnum table

Fixed round table with concrete base and top in veneered wood, glossy glass, matt scratch-resistant glass or SuperMarble.

The Imperial table

Table with an elliptical, barrel or rectangular top, fixed or extendable in veneered wood, solid wood, debarked solid wood, polished crystal, matt scratch-resistant glass, SuperCeramic, SuperMarble, SuperConcrete or natural marble. Lacquered steel bracelet structure, also available in a bicolor version.

The Vanity desk

Writing desk with adjustable mirror and light, mirror only or desk only. Structure in lacquered steel. Decorative details (feet, drawer handle and mirror and light supports) in lacquered steel. Top in melamine or Supermarble.

The Puffoso pouf

Sideboard with wooden structure, frame and feet in lacquered steel, composed of three hinged doors, internal shelves in transparent glass, left central compartment in lacquered wood, sides and doors in decorated lacquered wood, top by choice.

The Cloe lamp

Floor lamp composed of base and rod in lacquered steel and adjustable arm in adjustable lacquered aluminum. Fabric lampshade.

The Swing lamp

Suspension lamp with chrome ceiling rose and transparent cable. Structure in lacquered steel. Hand-blown glass lampshade available also in a worked baloton version.
