Carlo Bimbi completed his artistic training at the Istituto d’Arte (Institute of Art) in Volterra and at the I.S.I.A. (Higher Institute for Artistic Industries) in Florence, where he graduated with a degree in Industrial Design with Pierluigi Spadolini.
Since the early ‘70s, his work has been focused on industrial furniture and objects of use, ranging from the living area to the bedroom.
He has always pursued a design style capable of enhancing the qualities of materials, where wood, cabinet-making, and fabrics play a central role.
Seeking not to be swayed by latest trends, Carlo Bimbi works focusing his creative activities on the search for logical and rational solutions.
