Solido is a design firm based in Ancona, founded in 2005 by Davide Casaccia and Massimiliano Tricoli, both graduates of the Poliarte Design Academy in interior and industrial design. Among their Bontempi creations: Magnum a statement table on a support base consisting of two concrete elements inspired by nature’s ability to shape blocks of stone, for a sculptural yet light and dynamic result, conjuring up an ever-changing aesthetic depending on the points of view. The collection Planet of small tables for living rooms with two movable tops, plus a single top on a metal tray that can be configured with tops in different materials and finishes that are reminiscent of the movement and geometric simplicity of planets in a constellation. An elegant and refined retro-inspired console Chic that showcases its functionality through the use of accessories such as a mirror, light and storage drawer that can be customised through multiple finishes and elegant materials and the series of modular shelves Zen obtained by removing the faces of the original solids, enhanced by a combination of different materials, such as glass and ceramic, creating transparencies and reflections, for an ethereal, sophisticated look.
