Following different formative experiences, Marco Gottardi, Stefania Crippa and Michele Bertolini met whilst working at Studio Lissoni Associati in Milan, where they were involved in the design and execution of various architecture, interior and product design projects both in Italy and abroad, collaborating with industry experts and with some of the most important companies in the furniture sector. In 2014 they established Studio Contromano, a container for ideas, a work-in-progress project that combines both personal and group experience, guided by the recurring theme of aesthetic equilibrium.
